چکیده
Abstract Introduction This study aims to determine the relationship between chronological age and pulp cavity size which type of tooth has a strong size. Materials Methods Cone-beam computed tomography images from 200 patients aged 18 55 years were analyzed. The software program (version 2.21) exported in DICOM format, MIMICS 10.01) was used calculate. determination strongly relates evaluated by Pearson correlation coefficient Linear regression model. Results A total included study. minimum recorded years, maximum period years. mean 35 statistically significant. Maxillary central incisor mandibular first molar showed Conclusions In this study, both maxillary significant with age. right left is strong. So, valuable index for human estimation reasonable precision accuracy.

Evaluating the Distance between Posterior Teeth and the Maxillary Sinus Floor Using Cone Beam Computed Tomography
Background and Objectives The topography of the sinus floor and its relationship with maxillary teeth roots varies with age, pneumatization size and grade, positioning of the teeth, and Genetics. This study used cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to evaluate the distance between posterior teeth and the maxillary sinus floor in patients in Rafsanjan City, Iran. Materials and Methods This de...
متن کاملForeign Body in Nasal Cavity: Panoramic and Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) Findings
Introduction: Panoramic view as a routine dental radiograph has an important role in diagnosis of other facial abnormalities accompanied with dento- alveolar structures. In this case presentation, we discuss this subject and also the efficacy of cone-beam computed tomography in localization of foreign body in complex anatomy of nasal cavity.
متن کاملAssessment of the relationship between the maxillary molars and adjacent structures using cone beam computed tomography
PURPOSE This study investigated the relationship between the roots of the maxillary molars and the maxillary sinus using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), and measured the distances between the roots of the maxillary molars and the sinus floor as well as the thickness of the bone between the root and the alveolar cortical plate. MATERIALS AND METHODS The study sample consisted of 83 patie...
متن کاملCorrelation Between Tissue Densities in Computed Tomography and Three Different Cone-Beam Computed Tomography Units (In Vitro)
Background and Aim: Bone density is of great assistance in the selection of the proper implant site. The present study aimed to assess the correlation between tissue densities in computed tomography (CT) and three different cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) units. Materials and Methods: In this descriptive study, a radiographic phantom consisting of a transparent polymethyl methacrylate (PM...
متن کاملThe relationship between dental implant stability and trabecular bone structure using cone-beam computed tomography.
PURPOSE The objective of this study was to investigate the relationships between primary implant stability as measured by impact response frequency and the structural parameters of trabecular bone using cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT), excluding the effect of cortical bone thickness. METHODS We measured the impact response of a dental implant placed into swine bone specimens composed of o...
